Wünderville was born out of a desire to pursue purpose and make a difference. The journey was triggered from a personal need for childcare for my now three-year old son Peter, combined with a deep desire to someday give back on a nursery school experience that was so filled with wonder and joy that I still have fond and vibrant memories of it today. The setting was an international school in Accra, Ghana (Ghana International School). My teacher was a German woman we called Mrs. Anoff (she had a Ghanaian husband). The word Wunder is German for miracle or wonder. I chose a German word for the business name in her honor. The word “ville” depicts our desire to create a vibrant and accepting space within the local community where meaningful connections are formed and minds conspire to offer innovative solutions to real life issues within the community.
